An Author Visits Our School
Jonathan Miller, the author and illustrator of Sammy the Wonder Dachshund, came to our schoool to speak with our students. He read two of his books to the students and told about the process of creating the books. He talked about how he came up with the ideas, how he researched the things he did not know, and his process of writing. He also told about how he creates the pictures from cutting out paper and building the pictures using only colored paper. It was fascinating to see how an author and illustrator really work.
