8th Grade Assistant Principal, Brittany Jackson
Hello! My name is Brittany Jackson, and I am proud to serve as the 8th grade Assistant Principal. I am beginning my 17th year in education and remain deeply committed to building meaningful relationships with our students, staff, and families—our entire 8th grade family. It is both a joy and a privilege to support and guide our scholars during this important stage of their educational journey.
I’m originally from Lugoff, SC, just northeast of Columbia. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Lander University and later completed my Master’s in Administrative Supervision at Anderson University. My educational career has been diverse and fulfilling—I’ve taught 4th and 5th grade, worked as a Title I Facilitator, served as an Administrative Assistant, and administrator for Greenville County’s Virtual Kindergarten Program.
Outside of school, I’m a proud wife to my husband, Rashaad, and a busy mom to our two amazing children, Kyle and Kirsten. Our family is all about sports! Whether it’s cheering at a football game/baseball game/wrestling tournament, or showing off some dance and cheer spirit, we stay active and involved. When I have a quiet moment, I enjoy crafting, shopping, and spending time with my family.
It is an honor to be part of the Blue Knight family, and I’m excited to partner with you to ensure a successful, positive, and empowering school year. Let’s make this year one to remember!
