3 Ways to Earn College Credit in High School

AP, IB & Dual Credit

Southside has the most complete offering Student working on a project at Roper Mountain Science Center of AP classes in the Greenville area. In addition, Southside offers numerous IB classes and the opportunity to earn college credit at Greenville Technical College. All of these are ways to earn college credit while meeting the requirements for high school graduation.

List of AP Courses at Southside In South Carolina, these courses earn higher grade points than even honors classes. Many colleges accept them for college credit if the student passes an AP test.

Advanced Placement AP Courses - College Board: This site has complete information on all advanced placement course standards.

IB Sequence of Courses - pdf In South Carolina, these courses earn the same grade points as AP courses. Many colleges accept them for college credit if the student passes an IB test.

Dual Credit - pdf These earn college credit at Greenville Technical College and are available evenings and in the summer.
