Seat Time Opportunity this Saturday, March 28th - Cost is free 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
These hours will be especially helpful if you need to remove an “FA” from your transcript. Any student who wishes to participate must pay IN ADVANCE by this Friday by 2 p.m.
The cost for seat time is $5 per hour. If we do not have at least 10 participants, the cancellation announcement will be made and refunds will be issued. Make up your 1st semester seat before March or the FA will become permanent.
GCSD will be hosting AP Review Day on April 25, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 1:05 PM. The AP Review Day offers an opportunity for students to take up to three review sessions to solidify what they have learned in their AP classes this year. Students will be able to choose the sessions based on areas of support needed. AP Review Day will be open to all GCSD AP students. Last day for student registration is April 17, 2026. Students must use their greenvilleschools.us account.

Upward Bound is a federally funded pre-college academic enrichment program for first-generation scholars in 9th through 12th grade. The Upward Bound program at Greenville Technical College is looking for scholars in the 9th and 10th grades who love to participate in exciting cultural activities, once-in-a-lifetime travel opportunities, and informative college visits that are FREE. Upward Bound Scholars get PAID to participate in enriching academic instruction, challenging ACT/SAT preparation, and instructive guidance on applying to and paying for college.

Upward Bound Program Information
We are pleased to announce Southside High School will offer after-school tutoring (Academic Overtime) for students. This is an opportunity for students to receive additional one-on-one assistance in any class they may need extra help.
The tutoring sessions will be held each school day on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 4:00pm to 5:00pm. Tutoring will not take place on holidays or days when school is closed or there has been an early-release.
Transportation is NOT provided. You will need to make a plan with your family.
