WOODLAND INSTRUMENT NIGHT
for Fourth and Fifth
Graders

On Feb. 13 at 6:30, there will be a
concert of middle school music students in the band,
strings and general music class. The music teachers
from the middle school will give out information and
answer questions about music in middle school. Our
students will then have an opportunity to actually
play instruments they are interested in learning.
They will be able to ask questions to middle school
teachers, private music instructors, and parents of
Woodland who play instruments. A local music
company, Musical Innovations, will be here to
provide information to parents about instrument
purchases or rentals.
There will be
numerous door prizes from local businesses
including Musical Innovations, Pizza Inn, Pump It
Up. Each student that attends will receive one
month free rental of a music instrument.

Stars in our parking lot!

Have you noticed the 3 "stars" in the parking lot? There
are 3 parking spaces that have stars painted on them. We
want our parents to know that these spaces are for
faculty/staff only- for a special reason. Our faculty is
recognizing each other throughout the year for things they
do that are above and beyond the call of duty. Once our
monthly winners are chosen, they get to have preferential
parking for a month in the starred spaces. We kindly ask
that parents refrain from parking in these spaces so that
our deserving faculty members can reap the rewards of their
hard work and recognition. Thanks so much for your help! |
