Spirit Day: 1950s Day- October 21, 2026

Get ready to twist and shout for 1950s Day on October 21! Celebrate 50 fabulous days of learning with poodle skirts, bobby socks, rolled-up jeans, and your best rock ’n’ roll style.

America 250: Celebrate America

In honor of America’s 250th Birthday, Greenville County Schools invites every student in grades Pre-K–12 to participate in Celebrating America. Students can express their ideas through essay, poetry, artwork, photography, speech, song, or dance. Entries will reflect their own thoughts, experiences, hopes, or appreciation for America. Think about the people, places, freedoms, opportunities, traditions, challenges, or dreams that make America meaningful.  All entries are due by October 30, 2026.  Twenty-eight District Finalists will receive $50, and the four overall District Winners will receive $100. District winners and their work will be recognized as part of Greenville County Schools' America 250 Celebration on Thursday, February 11. Tigerville's Veterans Day Program- November 11

We are excited to start planning our Veteran’s Day Program. This year’s program will be at 9:00 am on Wednesday, November 11.  We had a great turnout last year and would love to have a great turnout this year as well.  We would like to extend an invitation to any veterans who wish to attend the program.  This is our way of honoring and celebrating these heroes in our community!  We would like to have an idea of how many people to expect so that we can have seating for everyone.  If you know that your child has a relative who is a veteran and would like to attend the ceremony with their veteran, please let us know on the Veterans Day RSVP form by Monday, November 2.  Another special way we would like to recognize our veterans is by adding their photo to a slideshow that will play during the ceremony.  If you would like us to include a special veteran, please upload your photo the Veterans Day Photos form by Monday, November 2.  

Storybook Character Parade 2026-27

Families, you’re invited to our Storybook Character Parade Walk-Through! Come enjoy a magical evening and see your favorite storybook characters on September 29th from 5:30–6:30 PM. Tigerville staff will be dressed as storybook characters that will thrill and delight as our visitors make their way through our school. To make the night truly magical, parents or gurdians who complete an RSVP/permission slip before or during the event will be able to help their student select new to them books to add to personal libraries.

BRMS Tiger Tours

Are you curious about the transition to middle school? Take a Tiger Tour and see Blue Ridge Middle School in action!  You can meet the administrators, talk with counselors, visit 6th-grade classes,  and visit related arts classes.  All tours start at 9:30 AM.
