Peer Mediation |
|
Peer Mediation is a conflict resolution program which was established at Riverside Middle during the 2006-2007 school year in order to develop responsible citizens and to counteract student conflict in school. The Peer Mediation program trains selected students and faculty liaisons in the Peace by Peace Program. Selected students learn to help fellow students solve conflicts before they escalate into issues which would involve teachers and/or administrators. These students; who show leadership, academic skills, and good character; are selected to be Peer Mediators after recommendations from faculty, staff, and students. |
