Transportation Form for 2026-2027

We will be sending home a transportation form in the coming days to allow parents to update their student’s transportation for the 2026-2027 school year.  If your student is a car rider or walker we DO NOT need this form returned.   If your student is a current 6th or 7th grader, currently rides the bus and will continue to ride the bus we DO NOT need the form returned because nothing is changing.  It only needs to be returned if you are changing to/from a bus rider.   All rising 8th grade students:  If you currently ride the bus or wish to ride the bus next year we MUST receive a transportation form.  Please indicate the High School your student will be attending and indicate which method of transportation is being requested.   Again, if your student is currently a car rider or walker and will remain a car rider or walker we DO NOT need this form returned.  Please email wmcdaris@greenville.k12.sc.us with any questions.

Tdap Vaccine Requirement for Rising 7th Grade Students

Greenville County Schools reminds all parents and guardians that South Carolina law requires one (1) dose of the Tdap vaccine for all students entering 7th grade.

The Tdap vaccine protects against three serious diseases: tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (whooping cough). This requirement has been in place for students since the 2013–14 school year.  If your child has already received the vaccine, please provide an updated South Carolina Certificate of Immunization to the school nurse.
If your child has not yet received the vaccine, please schedule an appointment with your healthcare provider, local pharmacy, or the health department as soon as possible.
Important Deadline:
Students entering 7th grade who have not received the Tdap vaccine by August 2026 will not be permitted to attend school until proof of vaccination or a valid exemption is submitted, as required by state law.

For additional information, please contact your school nurse.  Thank you for helping us keep our students safe and healthy!
