First Grade & Second Grade students (and identified 3rd-5th grade students) are scheduled to take the reading MAP test on Tuesday, December 2nd and the math MAP test on Wednesday, December 3rd. Assessment results help guide teachers’ reading and math instruction by better understanding what students know and are able to do, where students need support, and what students are ready to learn next. All students should bring their charged, district-issued Chromebook to school for each testing session. First graders should also have working heaphones.
Early Bird Registration for the 2026-27 school year will be open December 1-5, 2025. Registration will continue beyond these dates.
Families are encouraged to register early so schools have the correct number of teachers and all preparations are made to welcome your child!

BRMS is excited to offer Tiger Tours for parents interested in Blue Ridge Middle School! Many parents haven’t yet had the chance to visit BRMS, and we want to change that. These tours take place during morning hours, giving parents the opportunity to learn about BRMS and the pathway to graduation at Blue Ridge High School.
