HMS Takes Anti-Drug Action

Drug abuse is one of the greatest threats currently facing America's kids. Dedicated to minimizing this threat, Hillcrest Middle School has joined with the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy's (ONDCP) National Youth Anti-Drug Campaign in an effort to significantly reduce youth drug abuse in the local area.

During Red Ribbon Week, October 28 - November 1, HMS will sponsor events to raise money and awareness.
For details, visit our Red Ribbon Week page.

We've added the following information pages to help you in the effort to educate area  youth about illicit drugs.
Parents, Kids, and Drugs: Fact and Fiction
America's Drug Use: Facts and Statistics
Kids and Marijuana: The Facts
Inhalant Abuse Fact Sheet
Ten Actions Families Can Take to Raise Drug-Free Kids
The Five Rs of Media Literacy
