the Future!

The Visual Arts Department of Cherrydale Elementary School teaches the future. I teach our future leaders, our future engineers, our future architects, our future interior designers, our future doctors, our future lawyers, our future fashion designers, our future bankers, our future business owners, our future politicians, and my future artists. I teach them all. I teach the future. Your child is the future. Welcome to the future!

Students from K4 – 5th grade will be participating in many different art projects. Your children will be learning about elements of art, principles of art, careers in art, and the art of different cultures and time periods. These items will be explored through many projects.

The students will be using pencils, erasers, crayons, oil pastels, paint, scissors, papier mache’, computers, … etc and a writing center. Most art projects will be kept in school until the end of the year for the annual art show in April. Check out some of the art projects below.
