Click for big pictureDuring the week of April 12 – 16, 2004, Mrs. Burgess’ five year-old Kindergarten class studied the farm.  As a culminating activity, we made a farm quilt.  The centerpiece, a barn, was painted and colored with markers by Jenae Massey and Alexis Johnson.  The sun was painted by Rocky Glazner.  Tyler Williams did a great job coloring the kite.  Zantravius Wardlaw and Click for big picture JaQuaeen Curry did a wonderful job painting two white fluffy clouds.  Keona Jamison-Allen’s goat is beautifully brown, and Isiah Craig’s yellow duck is swimming right along.  Chasity Carwise did a terrific job on her sheep.  The cow, by James Burnside, has awesome spots. Diamond Harris and Claudia Culpepper have a perfectly pink pig, and Brandon Jameson’s rooster is the most colorful ever!  Austin Lovell and Robert Plumbley have a buzzing bee, and last but not least Quandeja Sanders and Jaelyn Adams have a butterfly that is fluttering towards success. ~ Mrs. Burgess
