On January 28, 2010 Cherrydale Elementary School held its sixth annual Cherrydale Idol talent show and its first "So You Think You Can Dance" Competition. Based on the same principle as “American Idol,” students, competing to win, showcase their talents in front of a panel of judges.

Congratulation to our winners:

The 2nd place winner of the "So You Think You Can Dance" Competition was Jasmine Sweet - Dance Star. First place winner was Che Morgan - Che the Dancer. The ""So You Think You Can Dance" Champions were Jalen Dendy, Literry Jackson and Quandarius Duckett - The MJ Crew.

The 2nd place winner of Cherrydale Idol was Sturgess Wilson - Cowboy. First place winner was Mikayla Bird - Missy. The Cherrydale Idol Champion was Halee Smith - Halee Luv.
