Twelve high schools, nine middle schools, 31 elementary schools, and 3 career centers have earned state recognition for their academic performance and/or closing achievement gaps.

The Palmetto Gold and Silver Awards program recognizes and rewards schools for attaining high levels of absolute performance, for attaining high rates of growth, and for making substantial progress in closing the achievement gap between groups of students.

The criteria and procedures for selecting schools that receive the Gold and Silver Awards were developed by the Education Oversight Committee (EOC).

LEGOTurn your unwanted LEGOs into teaching tools.
The recycling committee, Student Council, and after-school program are teaming up to celebrate Earth Day with a LEGO Lessons Collection Drive.
We will accept LEGOs of any size during our collection drive.  Student Council representatives and volunteers will be posted outside the school on Friday, April 25 for the collection.  Students will place their LEGO donations into a bin labeled with their grade on the way into the building. The grade that brings in the most LEGOs will win a prize.
