Reminders to Parents Regarding 2010-2011 School Year –
Please include the following information in any
communications to parents at the end of this school year and
during the summer.
· The
2010-11 school year will begin on Monday, August 16 for all
students. If a child is entering school for the first time,
parents should register him/her for school before the new
school year begins. For more information on enrollment, or
to find out where your child will attend school, call
INFOLine at 355-3100 or visit the
Greenville County Schools’ website.
· In
2010-11, middle schools and high schools will start and end
the school day 15 minutes later. Middle schools will begin
at 8:30 a.m. and end at 3:15 p.m. High schools will begin at
8:45 a.m. and end at 3:45 p.m. Start and end times for
elementary schools will not be impacted (8:00 a.m. and 2:30
p.m.). Bus morning pickup times will not change for any
K-12 student because of the change to school start times.
