Counseling Standards

As school counselors, we are actively committed to student success!!! In order to help our students, we follow the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) standards. These standards identify and prioritize the specific attitudes, knowledge and skills that students should be able to demonstrate as a result of participating in our school counseling program. Listed below are the ASCA standards.

Academic Development

ASCA National Standards for academic development guide school counseling programs to implement strategies and activities to support and maximize each student’s ability to learn.

Academic Development - ASCA Standard A

Students will acquire the attitudes, knowledge, and skills contributing to effective learning in school and across the lifespan.
