Art Club is for students who are interested in learning more about art and creating their own art. We meet every first Thursday of each month.

Beta Club

Junior Beta Club is open to any sixth, seventh and eighth grader who maintains an A average.  We meet monthly.

BOSS is a club where there is no judgment, a place where young men receive encouragement, motivation and are challenged to be the best version of themselves that they can be.  We meet the second and fourth Friday of each month during LIFT.  Grade Level: All • Sponsor: Charles Cribb  and Bobby McGowens

The purpose of Chess Club is for students to foster interest, participation, and enjoyment of the game of chess. We meet the first and third Thursday of each month.

Dance club is for all students interested in music and dancing. We will learn dance routines and perform for the school. Students must maintain 70% or better in all classes and maintain good behavior.  Seventh and eighth grade students meet the first and third Friday of each month from 8:15-9:00 am.  Sixth grade students meet the second and fourth Friday of each month from 8:15-9:00 am.  Grade Level: All • Sponsor: Katie Hedberg

SOS Club (Sisters Offering Support) is a girls only group for students who need a safe, judgment-free place to go to during lunch, who have difficulty making friends, or are struggling with something.  Students join by signing up or being recommended by staff, We meet the first and third Thursday of each month during lunch.  Grade Level: All • Sponsor: Cherie Mosher

The purpose of Student Council is to work together to improve student life at Woodmont Middle.  We meet on the last Friday of the month during LIFT.   We sponsor Wildcat Warriors, which meets the first Friday of the month during LIFT. The criteria to be a member of both of these groups are passing grades, no discipline points, and a completed application.

Triple B Clubicon: open book

Triple B Book Club provides an opportunity for students to read and discuss a variety of books throughout the year.  We meet on the first and third Friday of each month from 8:00 -8:45 a.m.

South Carolina YMCA Youth in Government Model United Nations is our only middle school specific conference. Students work in small groups to represent a country of their choice. The conference provides students to learn about global issues, while also learning how to work in a team and think critically.
