The Riverside High School Student Association is composed of five committees:
Advisory
Central Spirit - Purpose: The Central Spirit Committee (CSC) is the nucleus of Riverside's Pep Club and we work to raise the overall spirit within the student body. CSC plans pep rallies, teacher appreciation days, the homecoming half-time show and the homecoming dance, Freshman Orientation, and we make the spirit banners seen throughout the Riverside halls! CSC meets every Monday at 3:35 pm in the Auditorium -- if you are a member of Pep Club, you are welcome to join us at any meeting! All students are encouraged to join Riverside's Pep Club!! Dues are $3.00 per student, which funds decorations for Homecoming, sign painting, and pep rallies. By paying Pep Club dues, students are allowed to attend the four Pep Rallies held during the school year and will receive a pep club gift.
Executive
Representative
Riverside Public Relations - RPR consists of elected members from the senior, junior, and sophomore classes. Freshmen elect their representatives (2) in the fall. The secretary and treasurer of each class make up the rest of the committee. RPR assists the Executive Committee in coordination with planning activities, coordinates the My Day service project, and provides Warrior Guides for Freshman Orientation.
Each committee acts independently, with the Executive Committee serving as an umbrella group. Each committee has its own advisor(s). The project clubs exist to help plan and raise money for the prom and other class events. There is a project club, with separate advisors, for each year.
