Dear Plain Families,
We have enjoyed a very smooth start to a very different school year. Thank you for your assistance and patience as we navigate through all of our COVID-19 safety precautions, brick and mortar teaching, and eLearing. We appreciate your grace as we work persistently to meet the needs of everyone, while balancing Google meetings, classroom teaching, and digital tools, often coupled with technical difficulties. It is so important for us to continue to work together in order to keep our school family both safe, healthy, and focused on academics. What an absolute joy it has been having your children back in school with us, if only for one day per week. Our school has finally come back to life!
Because of everyone’s due diligence, our students are able to begin 2 days’ physical attendance under Greenville County School’s Attendance Plan 2 beginning the week of September 7. Students in the Blue & Green Groups will come to school on Mondays and Wednesdays. Students in the Red & Purple Groups will come to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. When not physically at school, students will continue with eLearning the remainder of the week.
Enjoy the month of September. I hope you are able to visit a local apple orchard with your family, sip hot cider, and enjoy an apple donut. Time goes by far too quickly and quality family time is so important.
