Operation Get Caught!

Pelham Road students and faculty are looking to get caught in the act - of kindness, that is! The All-Star Compassion and Kindness Force (TASCK Force) has special agents located throughout the school, constantly on the lookout for random acts of kindness. Those who get caught receive kindness bracelets, letting everyone know they are proponents of kindness! Kind acts (as defined by student TASCK Force members) include helping others, including someone new in play or conversations, being polite and considerate of our custodial and cafeteria staff and much more. We are excited to share the excitement that comes from getting caught being kind!

Our students at Pelham Road look forward to the BOOK BLAST that occurs each May. Students get to select a FREE book or two to take home and enjoy reading during the summer. Please look around your house (and grandparent’s too!) for books that are “greatly loved and gently used” that you would like to donate to our BOOK BLAST. There will be a box outside the media center starting February 15th to collect the donated books. Books can be from Pre-K to 6th grade reading level. Thank you in advance for helping to make this year's BOOK BLAST a great success by donating a few of your old favorites to share with another student!
