Assistant Principal

Meet Ms. Gerard

Ms. Emily Gerard came to Paris from Oakview Elementary where she taught fourth grade for thirteen years. She is originally from Worcester, Massachusetts. When she was two years old, her family moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, and she lived there until she was six years old. She became a Greenville native when her parents moved here in 1981. She earned her Bachelors Degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She then pursued a Masters Degree in Elementary Education at the University of South Carolina and an Administrative Degree from Clemson University for a Masters Plus 30. Ms. Gerard has worked closely with Oakview's administrative team as she completed the internship part of the program and has continued with many administrative duties and experiences while teaching.

For some, the most important question is "Is she a Gamecock or a Tiger fan since she has a degree from both Carolina and Clemson?" The answer is Tiger.
