PTA recognized several parents and staff at the April Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast for their service to Oakview. 

Oakview PTA Earns Top Award from the State!

Oakview PTA was named the 2016-2017 Local PTA Unit of the Year!  This top honor from the South Carolina PTA recognizes the tremendous partnership between parents, community members, faculty, and staff to support the students at Oakview!  From enrichment programs to strong communication, Oakview’s PTA sets the standard for others to follow, as over 40,000 volunteer hours are logged each year!  In addition to earning Unit of the Year, Oakview PTA received the following awards at this year’s SCPTA state convention:  Award of Excellence in Communications, Outstanding Local Unit of the Year, Local Unit Membership Recognition - Top 10 Member Count, Award of Excellence in Enrichment Programs, Oak Leaf-Exceeding the Standards Award - Excellent Level, Palmetto Award - Platinum Level - Membership Recognition Award, Award of Excellence in Membership Promotion
