Miracle Workers Honored by School Board
School Board Trustee Pat Sudduth and Chairman Dr. Crystal Ball O'Connor presented Miracle Worker Awards to David Scott and Zachary Pearce at tonight's Board meeting. Mr. Scott's bus was hit head-on by a driver on April 26. Scott immediately ushered students to safety, climbing over seats and assisting 20 students off the bus in only 41 seconds. Zachary Pearce, David Thomas and Kyle Underwood, who were first on the scene, were recognized with Miracle Worker Awards for their heroic actions as they extinguished the fire before EMS arrived.
