Northwest Middle Students Win Art Contest
Four Northwest Middle School students are winners in the seventh annual Atlantic Institute Art and Essay contest.
Winners are:
- Madison Cantrell - Drawing (Graphite and Watercolor)
- Emily Lang - Painting (Watercolor and Acrylic)
- Heavyn Sexton - Painting (Acrylic)
- Farrah Whitfield - Drawing (Colored Pencil)
The purpose of the contest was to promote awareness, understanding, and positive interaction among different cultures and communities. The Atlantic Institute will distribute a total of 60 awards including cash prizes for all and a trip to Peru for first, second and third place winners. Winners will be recognized at an awards ceremony later this month.
