As part of the state’s emergency response plan Greenville County Schools resources will remain on standby until the Governor declares an end to the state of emergency. It is our understanding from local emergency response coordinators that there is still space available in existing shelters, so it is doubtful that our schools will be needed.

While our bus fleet has returned to Greenville County, we cannot be certain as to whether a new need will arise. As a State asset, the Governor can recall the buses at any time. We plan to have bus service on Monday.

We appreciate the understanding of our parents who have transported their bus riding children to school and have waited in longer car lines.
