“We want you to know you are appreciated and are a man of encouragement,” said Gregory Stephens, 100 Black Men representative and Carolina High mentor. Mr. Stephens also recognized Leah Platt, school counselor and mentoring coordinator, for her continuing support.

“This is such a great recognition for Mr. Delaney,” said Superintendent Dr. Burke Royster. “We know he could not do the outstanding job he does every day without the effort that each employee puts forth.” Dr. Royster also congratulated 100 Black Men for their support of Carolina High and its students.

Board Members Glenda Morrison-Fair and Kenneth Baxter were on hand for the presentation.
