Project Lead the Way (PLTW) – At the end of each class, the students can earn college credit through Clemson University by completing the class and passing the PLTW exam. Currently we offer PLTW courses within NewTech and the traditional classroom
Accelerate- The following courses are offered through the Governor’s School: Pre-Calculus for Engineers 1 & 2, Pre-Engineering 1 & 2, English 101 & 102, Engineering 101 & 102, Chemistry for Engineers 101 & 102, and Calculus for Engineers 101 & 102. Currently, we have 12 students in the Accelerate program.
Advanced Placement Courses- We currently offer 18 AP courses including English Literature and Composition, English Language and Composition, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Statistics, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Psychology, Macroeconomics, Government, Human Geography, World History, US History, Spanish Language and Culture, Computer Science, Studio Art 2D Design, and Studio Art Drawing. We have 650 students that will be taking 1 or more AP exams at the end of the year. Currently we are anticipating giving 1124 exams.]
Early College Program - Dual Credit Courses offered with Greenville Tech
Teacher Cadet- Students can receive 1 hour of college credit
Magnet Distinction – Students that have completed the requirements of the Magnet program may receive Magnet Distinction in Math, Science, or Technology.
