In about a week, Hughes will allow the students to ask for advice from some fellow students through a box called “What Your Teacher Doesn’t Tell You”.
The idea to add an advice column came from Mr. Scott while teaching his journalism class. Mr. Scott feels "bringing an advice column onto the Hughes Website will create student involvement". He later gave the assignment to Dana Dobson, Grace Harvey, Sarah Presley, and Trinity Williams. These four students are now in charge of collecting, reading, and answering your questions.
There are two ways for your questions to reach our four students. The first way is to write down your question and put it into the new advice box which will be located in the cafeteria. You can also type your question into the “Things Your Teacher Doesn’t Tell You” Google Forms. This Google Form can be easily accessed by anyone by simply clicking the link below.
Your questions can generally be about anything but will need to be school appropriate and at a mature level. After receiving your question, the students will post their advice to the Hughes Academy website. “What Your Teacher Doesn’t Tell You” is scheduled to launch soon and will be offered to each student. We can't wait to see what these students come up with!
