IB Students in Action

Furman Visit

Launched in 2006 by the Jefferson Awards Foundation and Deloitte, Students In Action develops high school students into community leaders. Currently active in communities across the U.S., the program encourages teenagers to positively impact their schools, communities and world. As part of the program, students work to meet 7 goals that help them build LEADERSHIP skills, support their efforts to ENGAGE others in volunteer service that will result in a positive IMPACT for their local communities. Students will develop a mission statement that will drive their service and leadership efforts throughout the year that will include all members of the Greer High School student body in an effort to create a culture of community pride and service.
