As an introduction to our "Ultimate Animal Survivor Project,' and in accordance with the Diversity of Life Science unit, the Greenville Zoo came to visit RCMS!
They presented an awesome information session about several different biomes found around the world. Not only were they super informative, but they also brought in live specimens! These animals showcased some of the different adaptations that allow them to survive in these unique biomes. The students were able to interact with four different animals; a turtle, a scorpion, a snake, and an alligator!
A big "thank you" goes out to the Greenville Zoo, for bringing hands-on learning right to RCMS!
