Meet the Teacher
The Greenville Rotary Club Evening sponsored a medieval tournament which included real horses ridden by knights. They showed us examples of some of the games that would have been played during the medieval period, including catching rings on their lances. They used swords to cut heads of lettuce and the knights concluded the exhibition by having a jousting match. They put the spotlight on our new character education program called Early Act First Knight. Robert E. Cashion is the first elementary school in this area to be honored with this program.
