Red Ribbon Week
Box Tops/Labels for Education
We're proud to be a part of the National PTA which is the largest volunteer child advocacy organization in the United States. A not-for-profit association of parents, educators, students, and other citizens active in their schools and communities, PTA is a leader in reminding our nation of its obligations to children.
The BMS PTA supports the school in many ways. From fundraising events like Spirit Week to teacher appreciation meals, our volunteers work hard to enrich the lives of all BMS community members. All parents, teachers, and students are encouraged to join our local PTSA chapter. Each membership is just $5 and helps us go a long way to help our school. Won't you join today?
Bryson's PTA now has a new way you can contact us.
PTA Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Feel free to email us. We'll get back in touch with you as quickly as possible.
Throughout the year, Bryson Middle will have several opportunities for you to volunteer. We recruit volunteers for our events by using an online service called Sign-Up Genius. If you are interested in receiving notification about our volunteer opportunities, please make sure that we have your email address on file. This can be done using the Family Information Form that is received at the beginning of the school year, or by emailing email@example.com.

PTA Reflections Contest 2017
The National Reflections program has been PTA’s cornerstone arts program for over 50 years! It offers students the opportunity to develop their creativity and earn recognition for their original artwork. Arts education is an essential element of a complete and balanced education for all students. The arts comprise a rich array of creativity in dance, theatre, media arts, literature, design, and visual arts. PTA's National Reflections and Cultural Arts Program allows students to explore their unique creativity.
Reflections encourages students to unleash their inner artist! Students may choreograph a dance, produce a film, write a poem or story, compose a song, take a picture or create a piece of visual art (drawing, painting, or even 3D). The entry must reflect this year's theme "Within Reach". Students are encouraged to submit as many entries in as many categories as they like. Each entry must be accompanied by a student entry form. All Bryson participants will be recognized for their artistic efforts!
Submissions are due Tuesday, October 24 and Wednesday, October 25. All guidelines and student entry forms can be accessed at scpta.org or click HERE to download a form. If you have any questions or need additional help please contact Melissa Marsh firstname.lastname@example.org.

Box Tops/Campbell's Soup Labels
Don't throw away cash that may be lying around your house, donate it to BMS. When you turn in Box Tops (worth 10 cents each), Campbell's Soup Labels, you help earn money for our school. Please take the time to save these items and turn them in (to the school office) as often as you like. The more we have, the more money we earn. Be sure to place them in a Zip-Loc bag with the student's name and homeroom on it. There will be some special incentives for those classes who raise the most throughout the year.
