Middle School Volleyball Brackets

The 2018 Greenville County Schools middle school volleyball tournament brackets are set! In the West Division, Sevier and Northwest finished with identical 7-1 region records and 8-1 overall (with one non-region match left to play). By virtue of a tiebreaker the Sevier Falcons grabbed the top seed out of the West and will host Dr. Phinnize J. Fisher Middle, the #2 seed out of the East Division. Fisher enters with a record of 6-3 and 4-2 in region play. Northwest will take the #2-seed from the West and travel to the top seed in the East, the League Bulldogs. League is 7-2 and 5-1 in region play.
In the South Division, Mauldin Middle finished their regular season 9-1 and 7-1 in region play. The Mustangs will host Greer out of the North Division. Greer finished their season 6-4 and 6-2 in region play. At 7-2, 7-1, Blue Ridge enters as the top seed out of the North. They will host last years county champions Ralph Chandler Middle (7-2, 6-2) the 2-seed in the South.
First round of the playoffs will be held on October 10th at 5:30 PM. The semi-finals will be held on October 15th and the championship on October 17th. In the semi-finals, the winner of Sevier-Fisher will face the winner of Blue Ridge-Ralph Chandler in one bracket and in the other, the winner of Mauldin-Greer will face the winner of League-Northwest.
