2017-18 Girls Tennis Playoffs

Defending AAAA State Champion Greenville is back and looks to make a run at another state title.  The Red Raiders won Region 1-AAAA to grab a #1 seed in the AAAA playoffs.  Greenville will host #4 seed and cross-county rival Greer.  Travelers Rest also secured a #1 seed by winning Region II-AAAA.  The Devildogs open with #4 seed Pickens.  TR and Greenville could be on a collision course with the winner advancing to the AAAA Upper State Final.  In the bottom half of the Upper State bracket, Eastside grabbed a #3 seed and will travel to Daniel (#2). 

In Class AAAAA Mauldin won Region II-AAAAA with a perfect 10-0 mark.  The Mavericks open play at home vs #4 Clover.  Joining Mauldin in the lower half of the bracket, #3 Woodmont travels to #2 Boiling Springs.  In the top half of the bracket JL Mann won the very challenging Region I-AAAAA and will host Byrnes (#4).  The winner of that game will meet the winner of Riverside(#2) and Rock Hill (#3).  #3 Hillcrest will also compete in the top half of the bracket as they open on the road at #2 Nation Ford. 

Rounding out play in Class AAA, #2 Southside opens at home vs #3 Fairfield-Central.  #4 Berea travels to #1 Camden. 

Playoffs for all classifications open October 18th.  The second and third round will be held on the 23rd and 25th.  Upper and Lower State will be October 30th and the State Finals will be held at Cayce Tennis Center on November 4th.  Good luck to all of our teams!
