Girls Tennis Playoffs - 2nd Round

Defending AAAA State Champion Greenville rolled through its 2nd round match vs Aiken 6-0.  Next up for the Red Raiders is county foe Travelers Rest, who knocked off North Augusta in the 2nd round.  The Devildogs will look to derail Greenville's hopes to repeat as state champions.  The match will be held at Travelers Rest on Wednesday, October 25th.

In the Class AAAAA playoffs Mauldin hosted Upstate power TL Hanna and it came down to the very last doubles match to determine a winner.  Hanna grabbed two wins in the #1 and #2 matches.  Mauldin got wins in #3, #4 and #5 from Kelsey Parsons, Jyoshita Umasankar and Carlie Raynes.  Hanna's win in #1 doubles left the match up to #2 doubles where Mauldin's Davis Horne and Chandler Werner won 6-3, 4-6, 10-1.  Mauldin will travel to Fort Mill on Wednesday for the 3rd round.

JL Mann's season came to an end vs Rock Hill.
