AJW 2012-13 Teacher of the Year Amanda LeBlanc

AJW 2012-13 Teacher of the Year:  Amanda LeBlancMrs. LeBlanc has been at AJ Whittenberg since the school opened in 2010. Before coming to AJ Whittenberg, Mrs. LeBlanc worked with district libraries, middle school, public libraries and even college libraries!  Mrs. LeBlanc has a Bachelor of Arts in English and Philosophy, a Masters of Library and Information Science, and a Specialist degree in Library and Information Science with a concentration in Educational Technology. She is currently working on administrator certification and a PhD program in Educational Leadership.

Mrs. LeBlanc has two sons, Michael (16) and Grady (7). She enjoys hiking and camping and loves sharing all of her hobbies with her students. She teaches after school classes at AJ Whittenberg on running, yoga, hiking, Urban Naturalist, recycled art, digital photography and videography.  She also works with the morning news team as well as the 4th grade Battle of the Books teams.
