Greenville County Schools to provide free student meals during the 2021-2022 school year
Free Meals for students during the 2021-2022 School Year- Due to a recent USDA waiver, all students will receive free meals during the 2021-2022 school year.
Free and Reduced Meal Applications - While Free and Reduced applications are not required to be completed to receive free school meals, Free or Reduced meal status, determined by a FARMS application or Direct Certification by the SC Department of Education, is a requirement to receive the Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) cards that will be distributed by the SC Department of Social Services to eligible families during the school year. Paper FARMS applications will be available at schools by August 2, 2021. Online FARMS applications are currently available on the FANS website.

Meals for Virtual Program Students - GCS Virtual Program students may receive meals each day by pre-ordering them one business day in advance from the cafeteria manager at their assigned school. Meal pick up times will vary by location. Proof of GCS enrollment will be required to receive meals.
