Dr. Ken Peake

Dr. Ken PeakeAssistant Superintendent for School Leadership – High Schools

Dr. Ken Peake began his career as a teacher and coach at J.L. Mann High School. He was named Teacher of the Year and was a finalist as District Teacher of the Year in 1980. He served as Assistant Principal at Greenville and Carolina High academies, and principal at Carolina High Academy and Eastside High. He presently serves as Assistant Superintendent. He has received many awards and honors over the years for his work, including the Xanthene Norris Educational Achievement Award in May 2012. Dr. Peake received his B.A. from Allen University, and his M.S., Ed.S., and Ph.D., from the University of South Carolina.
