Hello Parents, Faculty, Staff and Friends of Woodland,
It's time once again for you and your family to join Team Woodland at the 33rd annual Reedy River Run. Registration for all events is only $12 and is a great way to involve the entire family.
Each registered participant will receive a T-shirt. There are refreshments after the race, and prizes will be awarded in several age groups.
I’ve been told they are expecting a record crowd so return the attached registration form to me as soon as possible. Deadline for registering through Woodland is Thursday February 18, 2010.
Here are some details about the event:
Event: Reedy River Run & The Fit's Cool $1000 School Challenge.
When: March 5th (Youth Mile - Ages 5-14 only) & March 6th (5K Walk/Run and the 10K).
Note Regarding the Youth Mile: They are not allowing parents to run the youth mile with their child due to heavy congestion in some areas. They will have many volunteers running with the students so they will be under constant supervision during the entire mile.
Where: Downtown Greenville.
When: All Woodland Students, Parents, Friends, Teachers and Staff count towards our total. The school team with the highest turnout will win $1000.
Cost: $12 per participate
Packet Pick-up: Team Woodland participants will pick-up their packets before/after school on Friday, March 5th. Times TBA.
