Moyd's science class builds ROV's

Students in Karen Moyd's Marine Science class build Remote Operating Vehicles. Students had to design the vehicles with neutral boyancy out of clothes hangers, paperclips, packing peanuts, and a small motor. Students tested out their ROV's in tubs of water. The class will go over to Wade Hampton Gardens Pool on Friday to test their ROV's and have a race to see which ROV can pick up the most nuts, bolts and washers.
