Help the Triune Mercy Center Food Bank
• Peanut Butter. Peanut Butter. Peanut butter. We need peanut butter. Mr. Bounds' fourth block English class is collecting peanut butter for the Triune Mercy Center food bank. Any non-perishable food donation would be appreciated, but we are really nuts about collect PEANUT BUTTER. So, please bring a jar, or two, or twenty! and help the hungry and homeless in our community. Peanut Butter can be dropped off outside room 219. Thanks! Peanut butter. Peanut butter.
• You can ease your spring cleaning and by bringing in your gently used clothes for the Triune Mercy Center. Bring your unwanted or outgrown clothing items and drop them into one of the large, decorated boxes located by the front office or in the middle of the second floor hall. We will be collecting clothes through Thursday, May 25.
Help JV Cheerleaders raise money
We're forking it out for a great cause! Eat at Fuddrucker's on Wade Hampton Blvd in Taylors on May 30th from 5-8pm and help the JV Cheerleaders raise money for camp. Help support us so we can support you!

Wade Hampton High School has received the Silver Award on the 2013 U.S. News and World Report Best High Schools Ranking Report. More than 21,000 traditional and charter high schools were analyzed across the nation. School ratings are based on the key principles that a great high school must serve all students well, and that it must be able to produce measurable academic outcomes to show the school is successfully educating its student body across a range of performance indicators. » Seniors: You must fill out the district senior survey, found here, before the end of the year.
» Seniors, if you are interested in being recognized as a completer of a major, please fill out this PDF and return it to guidance. Most career center students will complete a major and submit their paperwork through the counselor at the respective career center. If you would like to look at the course listings for completing majors at Wade Hampton, please schedule an appointment with Ms. Walters.
» Seniors & their family: Please complete the scholarship awards form so that we can include your total into the schools Scholarship Report and so that your award may be included in Senior Awards Night. Award forms must be completed by May 16 to be included in Senior Awards Night. The awards form can be completed online here or in guidance.
» Greenville Health System is now accepting applications for teen volunteers this summer. If you are at least 15 years old by June 1, you are eligible to participate. Stop by guidance for an application.
» DUES $60.00 (includes T-shirt, Prom, Senior Breakfast, Graduation, and Tailgating Party)
