  • Assist teachers in the Diagnosis of student needs more analytically

  • Interpret AYP & SDE Report Card data and provide training to the faculty in these areas.   

  • Work with teachers to help them plan together more productively

  • Introduce teachers to strategies & methodologies that will help them to teach more effectively

  • Assist teachers in implementing best instructional practices

  • Assist teachers in developing sound procedures for assessment

  • Assume leadership of the school portfolio and SACS review under the direction of Mrs. Stuart. Provide assistance with the School Portfolio (School’s Strategic Improvement Plan) Information and Analysis, Student Achievement and Professional Development.

  • Assist teachers in improving all standardized test scores, including  HSAP, EOC, SAT, ACT and AP

  • Coordinator of the New Teacher, Induction Teacher, Mentoring Program

  • Provide assistance to teachers for the ADEPT and PAS-T Evaluation Instruments

  • ADEPT improvement team member for those teachers who did not successfully complete ADEPT.

  • InteGrade Pro (IGPro) contact: Provide assistance & training for InteGrade Pro

  • Provide training & support for Class XP and other instructional software programs

  • Assist teachers in the integration of technology into the instructional program

  • Serve as the Classroom Technology Coordinator to support instructional technology and help trouble shoot software issues.

  • MAP Testing Coordinator

  • NovaNet Technical Coordinator

  • Collect from Department Chairs Long Range Plans and Common Syllabi for all teachers

  • Professional Development Calendar for school-based and district in-services (attended by WHHS faculty)

  • Track professional development hours to ensure compliance with GCSD's Professional Development

  • Assist with any projects/grants that require any kind of data analysis or needs assessment.

  • Introduce & promote HSTW best practices.

  • Distribute information from the consultants in Teaching & Learning to the teachers

  • Attend parent/teacher meetings when asked.

  • Coordinate the Student Teacher placement program.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the principal.
