- Responsible for the observation of classroom instruction in order to help teachers in the evaluation of the instructional program
- Assume the responsibility of the operation of the school in the absence of the principal
- Confer with students and, as required, with parents regarding achievement, growth, discipline, extra-curricular activities, and other matters believed to be related to the success of the students
- Counsel with students
- Supervise extra-curricular activities
- Represent the school at community functions when requested by the principal
- Assist with building security
- Provide security at all home football games and other events as assigned
- Process and respond to all referrals within two school days / Keep discipline in SASI up to date
- Assume the responsibility of walkthrough and evaluative observations of teachers and staff assigned by the principal
- Coordinate procedures to assure compliance with all attendance guidelines, including intervention conferences and referrals to the attendance office
- Assist Guidance with the development of the Master Schedule
- Willingly assume responsibility for other duties as requested by the principal
- Administrator in charge of the English, Math, Media Center, ESL and Career Education (Business Education, Family and Consumer Science) Guidance, ISS departments
- Coordinate and implement the ISS program
- Administrator in charge of fees
- Administrator in charge of the senior class. Administrator in charge of the sophomore class L-Z---discipline etc.
- Administrator in charge of graduation activities
- In coordination with the principal compile and submit state report card information
- Assume the responsibility for the coordination of substitutes and develop a teacher class coverage plan. Administer the plan for the first third of the school year
- Administrator and coordinator of the Homebound Student Program
- Coordinate and supervise the implementation of the ID badge program for students and teachers
- Coordinate student orientation activities (Family Fun Fest/First Day Celebration)
- Supervise the Guidance Department as they administer all testing programs (HSAP, AP, EOC, etc.)
- Assume the coordination for the yearly update, distribution, and signature form of the Student Handbook
- Responsible for the coordination and update of the teacher handbook
- Administrator in charge of the school portfolio
- Responsible for securing the necessary data and preparing reports and surveys, Ex. OCR, End of Year Reports, Suspension Report , ISS Report, etc.
- Coordinate the After School Detention Program and feedback to teachers
