Overview
Welcome to the WHHS Family! We encourage each of you to get involved in the WHHS family. We have many, many ways you can get involved and make a difference...and most only take an hour or two. To find out about available opportunities, email our Volunteer Chairman Tammy Foster at ensamom@yahoo.com or Denise McWhorter at d_mcwhorter@yahoo.com, they will be glad to help you get started!

Another way to get involved is to attend a PTSA board meeting. All meetings are open to all PTSA members (you don't need to be on the
board!). If you'd like to join us, our upcoming meetings are September 29, October 21, November 17, December TBA, January 26 (followed by Open House), February 21, March 30, April 27, and May TBA. All meetings begin at 5:30pm in the Media Center.

WHHS Business Partnerships
We have a wonderful opportunity to involve local businesses in the lives of our student population to build a stronger community here in Greenville. WHHS Recycles
Please bring old Cell Phones, Inkjet Cartridges, and PDA's to the office for recycling. We accept all cell phones, inkjet cartridges (no Epson), HP or Canon Toner, and PDA's. These items may be dropped off in the main office of Wade Hampton. If you have a large quantity of cartridges or any questions, call Paula Schmietendorf at 236-8252.

School Rebates
Do you have an Ingle's or Bi-Lo Grocery Card?  If so, you will want to link it to WHHS.  For Ingles, simply fill out a form at Customer Service.  Our school code is 12026. 
For Bi-Lo, pick up a scan sheet at the Open House on Monday 8/25 and have it scanned the next time you shop at Bi-Lo.  WHHS receives 1% of all your purchases back in $$!  Interested in purchasing Gift Cards for the Holidays or for your personal shopping?  You can purchase Bi-Lo Gift Cards at NO extra charge through WHHS and the school receives 4% back.  For more information contact Paula Schmietendorf at 236-8252.

WHHS relies on your generous tax deductible donations for school funding. PTSA Volunteers Needed!
