Our field day is scheduled for Tuesday, May 29th. We are so excited to be going to Paris Mountain State Park. While there, We will be playing field day games. Once the Games have commenced, we will join everyone in the shelter for a cook-out. There are a lot of fun activities planned for the day. Bring your running legs and your empty Stomachs!

Microwave Meals

Mrs. Jackson's class learned how to prepare microwave meals in the Life Skills Lab. They made chicken parmesan, spaghetti, green beans, and chocolate mug cake. The entire hall smelled like an Italian eatery! Please Enjoy our photos from their fantastic learning experience.

We would like to congratulate Mrs. Jackson's class for participating for the first time in the Special Olympics. They were held at Furman University on April 18th.

What's Up and Coming?

We are so lucky to have been granted a fast track to our technology upgrade! What's to come...new computers, Promethean boards for the teachers and a television production studio.

We have also been working on the new "Literacy Lounge". A place to sit, chill and read a good book. Pictures to come soon

The "Life Skills Lab" is up and running. Mrs. Jackson's class has already made and enjoyed a lasagna lunch. Can't wait for pictures soon.
