For Our Parents

Dear Parents,

As parents, you can help me by making sure that your student is taking personal responsibility for their grade. Students tend to be more focused on the social aspects of high school and their grades tend to come second. While that is understandable, your goal should be to make sure that the gap between those priorities is as small as possible. Take time out of your busy day and see what is going on with your child. Make sure that your student is getting all of their work finished. Help them to see how important it is for them to finish school and get into college. Encourage them to develop positive relationships with all of their teachers so that they can have the courage to ask questions that will help them excel in school. Help your student become something that they've always dreamed of being by reaching goals that they never thought they could obtain. If you can handle even half of this, then you are doing an excellent job of parenting.

Thanks in advance,

Mr. Robbins
