My Philosophy: I believe that English is the most important high school subject because communication is the foundation of a productive society. No matter what career paths my students choose, they will not be able to function in this society without reading, writing, and speaking skills. Of course, by high school, they already know how to read, write, and speak, but they still have much to learn, and the more effectively they can communicate their ideas to others, the greater their likelihood of success will be!
