Students

This course will involve direct instruction by the teacher with student interaction, group work,films, videos,and lab work. Our classroom will have a positive atmosphere for learning,therefore the following rules and consequences will be observed.

Classroom Rules
1.Be in your seat when the bell rings-- attendance is taken by a seating chart
2.Wait to be dismissed bt the teacher. Leave the room neat and orderly.
3.Bring all materials to class and remain on task for the entire peroid.
4.Respect others and their property.
5.No food or drinks are allowed in the classroom.
6.Passes are for emergencies.

Consequences for violating class rules:
1.1st offense:warning
2.2nd offense:parent contact
3.3rd offense:referral

Rewards for following the rules:
1.Mastery of content accompanied by good
grades.
2.Positive learning enviornment.
3.A class that you will enjoy.


Procedures for non-instructional activities:
Place your first and last name,class peroid, date,and title of assignment in the upper right corner of your paper. Multiple pages should be stapled. Each student should keep a record of their grades in the front of their notebooks. Homework is due before the tardy bell--it will be placed in the homework box at the front of the classroom. You are responsible for asking for missed assignments. Any work missed due to an approved absence is to be made up within 5 days.
