Letter to Students
Your grades are derived from quizzes (20% - this category includes occassional written assignments, and essays), labs (20%), and tests (60%). There is an internal assessment component of your IB grade (24%) that consists of a lab portfolio. This is externally evaluated by IB and thus, it is imperative that lab reports are handed in on time. They are due at the beginning of class on the assigned day. Late labs will be accepted with a 10pt. penalty/day for up to 3 consecutive school days. After 3 days, I will place it in your portfolio but your grade for me will be zero. |
