 Mr. Huss's Classes  READ 180 is an intensive reading intervention program designed to improve the skills and raise the test scores of ninth grade students. READ 180 addresses weaknesses in reading, writing, spelling, listening, and speaking. Beginning with whole group instruction, the students will then rotate from station to station, improving skills in different areas. READ 180 is designed to engage the students by offering varied instructional techniques, specific to each individual student’s needs. JOURNALISMJOURNALISM is a working class. Journalism students work to create their own stories based on what they experience in their own lives. The Journalism class works like a real news agency--students are "paid" for their work with grades. Journalism students spend the marjority of time working on independent projects. Their work includes writing, interviewing, editing, revising, researching, and even taking pictures for articles. Contact Me
